Northfield Engineering strives to comply with all aspects of the Occupational Health and Safety Act in South Africa. Since 2012 we have been implementing health and safety practices across the entire company and on external sites where we are contracted to work.
Additionally, we have a dedicated Health and Safety department which ensures that all H & S requirements are adhered to, including Site Audits and H & S Contractor Files.

We pride ourselves in being compliant and our customers and clients all know that we take this aspect of our business very seriously. It gives all stakeholders involved in any given project great peace of mind that their H & S needs are being taken care of.
Core focus areas of Northfield Engineering’s H & S team are to ensure a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly workplace for all stakeholders, legal compliance and the identifying and mitigation of risks.
Northfield Engineering’s H & S department always goes beyond the minimum requirements when it comes to PPE, training, medicals and first aid. We are vested in our staffs’ welfare and hold regular in-house awareness drives and training on various topics.
